Who would have thought that the longest-running and most-popular show on VH1 Classic would be a talk show about metal? Walking metal encyclopedia Eddie Trunk who produced bands such as Athrax and Metallica in the 1980s, teams up with Emmy Award-winning commedians Jim Florentine and Don Jamieson (both of whom have comedy albums out on Metal Blade Records) to argue amongst themselves and fans about metal trivia.
This summer, after 10 seasons on the air, they are taking the show on the road for the first time. These live performances are just for the audience in the venue. The cameras are not rolling. The censors are not watching. Here's you chance to "stump the trunk" live.
Detroit is the Metal Comedy Road Show's third stop and they are bringing it to Detroit's most metal bar-The I-Rock Nightclub. If you want to disagree with this, then you surely havn't seen their bathrooms.
What would a show be without some great music? This show will feature Balck Sabbath tribute acts Banned From E.A.R.T.H. (The Ozzy era) & Banned from H.E.L.L. (the Dio era) on the bill delivering your metal soundtrack for the night.

The show begins at 8PM but with a purchase of a VIP ticket you can get in at 7PM and take part in
a Meet and Greet with the guys.
