Game 4 - Pistons vs. Heat - Tuesday May 31st

Game 4 of Eastern Conference Finals tonight with The Pistons looking pretty lackluster against Shaq and The Miami Heat - If we are going to win - it is going to take Ben Wallace getting to more offensive rebounds and producing second chance scoring opportunities for the Champs - Ben Wallace quote from FSN after the loss in Game 3 - "It was a shitty game - thats all I have to say and thats my final answer" Posted by Hello

7 Inch Wave - Ball of Love Tour - Lager House May 25th

http://www.public.iastate.edu/~confused/

Forget the basketball game and go check these guys out at the Lager House

FROM THE 7 Inch Wave Blogsite:

"About 7 Inch Wave
7inchWave consists of 3 human entities whose mission is to spread the robotic word of music through all space and time. This message goes out to all who have yet to unlock their own personal vices and programmed inhibitions: those who must strive to maintain sanity among the crowd of normals, those who behave abnormally in a most sub-human manner, and those who exhibit signs of severe frustration with the world. We will absolve all your worldly sins through sheer noise and harmony. Embrace the wave, people, and all shall be right with the robotic world. "

May is Motor City Makeover Month

May is Motor City Makeover Month, and the City of Detroit needs the help of all Detroiters, block clubs, community groups and businesses in Making Detroit Beautiful, and Making it Last.

Motor City Makeover is a bagged litter volunteer campaign, with an increased emphasis on beautification. Volunteers are needed to clean up and beautify their property, as well as remove trash and debris from vacant lots and play areas. Volunteers also are needed to adopt vacant lots, parks, play areas and entry points into the city to beautify.

This year's dates are: May 7, 14 and 21. The Neighborhood City Halls will be open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on those Saturdays, providing gloves and litter bags upon request.
